Information on Real Fur Bears As well as making bears from Mohair and Alpaca I also like to use real fur. Some people may be wondering why I use real fur in the make up of Teddy Bears. Well, I always make sure I use old furs which I come across from time to time at auctions, fairs and markets. I have also had special requests from people who have had real furs left to them by a loved one and would like a bear made up as a way of remembrance. What a good idea I hear you say! The make up of a real fur bear is time consuming. With extra care taken in making sure the pieces of fur used are in good condition and are equally matched in fur depth during construction.
